St. Paul: My Second Home

My family and I have made St. Paul church and school our second home for many years now, and we all enjoy it very much here. Service is a major way we show our dedication to St. Paul. Besides attending mass my mother is in Women's Guild, and my dad is active in Men's Club. My family has inspired me to also reach out to my community through service. For example, I have been helping to clean the church weekly for the past two years. I also enjoy participating in youth group, Mission Possible, and the St. Paul Work Camp. It gives me a great satisfaction that I have helped my St. Paul community in some small way. However, our church would not even exist today without dedicated priests, like Father Flori.

Our priests were called by God to work for Him; therefore, I have grown a much deeper respect for them. "What can I personally do to show our priests that I support them?" Over the years, I realized it is not as difficult as everyone makes it out to  be. In fact, it is actually quite simple. Showing our priest kindness and talking to them and thanking them for all that they do is truly the best kind of support we can offer. Our priests give so much of their time and heart, and they deserve to be recognized for their works. I have found at St. Paul our priest and deacons do not go unnoticed, and I am extremely proud to say that I am a part of the St. Paul parish.
