My name is [Name].  I'm currently an eighth grader at St. Paul School and would like to be considered for one of the Knights of Columbus scholarships towards attending a Catholic High School.  Next fall, I will be attending the ninth grade at Bishop Lynch High School.

This past year, I participated in the Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge and advanced to the Regional level.

I want to continue my education in a Catholic environment.  By attending a Catholic school, I am able to practice my faith openly and express my beliefs in a deeper way throughout the whole day.  It allows me to grow in my faith surrounded by supportive people.  This will help me when faced with life problems and challenges; I’ll turn to the Bible or a Catholic mentor to put me on the right path in my life again.

I am truly excited to continue my education in a Catholic environment.  I thank Knights of Columbus for their part in making this a reality by considering me for this award.
